Let's build a stable and sustainable food system
The first step to a sustainable future lies in our ability to act together and create innovative solutions to the challenges facing the food system in Israel.
The Natural Step Israel has been working since 2012 to promote sustainability and strengthen the resilience of the food system.
The organization is committed to building a sustainable Israeli society through a resilient food system, and leads the search for innovative solutions in collaboration with public and private entities, to prevent food waste, strengthen local consumption, and promote Israeli agriculture.
The organization is part of the international network The Natural Step, which has been working for three decades to implement strategic sustainability among business and public organizations.
Real impact begins with joint action
The organization believes that real change can only happen through joint action between all parties in the food system - businesses, government and consumers.
Through fruitful collaborations, we work to lead changes that will bring real results, to create resilience and balance in the local food system and help promote a sustainable future for all of us.
How can we bring about change in the food system?

״The question that will decide whether we succeed in becoming a sustainable society that can survive and prosper for many more years, is not whether we will have enough forests, water, clean air or even money. The real question is, will there be enough leaders, in time״
